Apple iPad Mini:

The all new Apple iPad Mini is set up to be launched on October 23^rd, 2012 in San Jose, California, United States of America. According to CNN, most of the members of press received an e-mail from Apple saying, “We’ve got a little more to show you. Please join us for an invitation-only event at the California Theatre in San Jose on October 23 at 10:00 a.m.”

Rumors about the new iPad:

According to rumors on different internet websites, and different people, the new apple iPad mini is expected to be a smaller, cheaper, and lighter; in short, a compact version of the normal iPad; that is iPad 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd generation. However, iPad mini is not an official name from Apple yet. According to sources from Apple, it is believed that the new iPad is compact as compared to the normal iPad that is the reason why people are calling it iPad mini.

There are also rumors saying that Apple will also launch a new MacBook Pro, and an updated version of Mac Mini along with their new iPad Mini on October 23^rd, 2012. This might boost up Apple sales, demand, and usage of Apple products.

Thing that Apple cares about the most – Looks:

Apple iPad mini is expected up to be one-fourth of the size of the normal iPad that is 7 to 8-inch screen if measured diagonally; whereas, the normal iPad 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd generation are 13-inch diagonally. That makes the new iPad mini by 6 to 7-inches! Other than that, no changes in looks are considered to take place except a bigger Apple logo at the back side of iPad.

The thing that makes this iPad interesting – Price:

Every single news about the new Apple iPad mini is just a rumor. When almost every detail is out about the new iPad, so how can price be left behind? The new iPad is thought to be starting from $300 (GBP 200), whereas iPad 2^nd generation ranges from $399 (GBP 500) and $499 (GBP 330) for 3^rd generation.

Apple Inc. setting up in the market – Competing with the competitors:

One of the main reasons for releasing a mini iPad is to compete with their competitors. There are a number of competitors of Apple in the market now trying to compete with latest and cheaper products. Samsung, Amazon Kindle, and Google Nexus can be considered as few competitors of Apple in the current market. In order to compete, Apple has decided to release this mini iPad, which is expected to be cheaper (as more people complain about expensive products from Apple) and better in technology so that it can be made affordable to people and more people recommend buying iPad rather than other products by different companies. As soon as apple invited the media for the release of its new iPad, Microsoft also announced that they will be launching their new tablet PC on October 26^th which will be known as Surface Tablet and will be starting from $500.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for a better version of cheaper, lighter, and better iPad!
