This will help Steam select which games will become available, and which games are not worth the hassle.
Linux on Steam
Currently there are no games that are available on Steam for the Linux OS users. This means that Linux users would not benefit from a Steam membership for there was nothing that they would be able to play without the use of a Wine. It was not until fairly recently that Linux games were even listed on Steam Greenlight. The listing of Linux games on Steam Greenlight would lead one to believe that Linux games will soon become available for members on Steam.
