Want to try iOS 6′s passbook, but can’t log in to iTunes Store?

So, you’ve installed iOS 6 on your iPhone, and are eager to try out all the new and shining features of Apple’s great new iOS 6. And yes, one of the first new things you see on your iDevice is Passbook, Apple’s new app to buy and keep tickets and vouchers and boarding passes and loyalty cards. Yes, that might be just the app you’ve been waiting for! So you open the app, and read the teasers in it, and then click “App Store”. And what do you get? Can’t connect to iTunes Store.
Luckily, MacRumors posted a fix, which was spotted in the forums:

“Go to Settings > General > Date and Time > Set Automatically > Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again or press the button from Passbook. If you get an error message, go back to the Settings app and change Date and Time > Set Automatically back to On. Then go back and try again.”

Weird enough, this even worked too!
